There are two options for futon frames, one is a bi-fold futon frame that folds in two length-wise creating a sofa. A bi-fold generally comes in a double or a queen and a tri-fold comes as a double or twin. Depending how much room you have in your home each has its benefits. Another feature to consider in regards to futon bed frames is whether it is a wood frame or metal frame. The wood frames seem to be more popular than the metal however, as they seem to be more sturdy. It is also important to buy a frame that can easily be converted when need be.
