With some fabric and a few simple sewing tools, you can bring an old futon back to life. All you need is a sewing machine, scissors, stray pins and some fabric. If you're looking for Easy (with a capital "E"), then just use two flat sheets -- twin, full or queen to match your futon mattress. Once you have a good design of material that would fit the style of your home, sew the two pieces of fabric or sheets together on three sides. On the fourth side, include either a zipper, velcro or four or five ties so that you can remove it for cleaning. That's it.
