Futons Feedback: Throw it away, and throw everything else that was in the room with it away.
Futons Feedback: Throw it out. The only type of chemical that controls them is pyrethrin, but it may not penetrate the fouton deeply enough to kill the bedbugs. Meanwhile, the bugs may get into your sofa or chairs. A few years ago my next door neighbor bought an infested mattress and the little critters got into my apartment. I had an exterminator come several times to spray my apartment and my mattress, but these bugs are very tough and the pyrethrin did not kill them. I had to throw out the mattress. I also didn’t want to sleep on a mattress that was covered with insecticide. My neighbor threw out her mattress too. She was bitten so badly that she had to go to the doctor several times. The whole incident was so disgusting that I can barely write about it without feeling sick! Throw it out.
Futons Feedback: bed bugs.com has a spray that U can buy. I would read the information on that site. very informative. but if it was me.. I wouldthrow the mattress out and buy a new one.. the cost of cleaning vs buying new.. best of luck
Futons Feedback: Fumigate it. Depending on the cost it may cost more than a new mattress but the begbugs are in your house now so you’re going to have to.personally I’d get rid of it quick AND fumigate evrything and everywhere else!
Futons Feedback: Chuck it. I’m not saying that to be rude. But I don’t think you realize what all it will take to get rid of those things. Plus bed bugs move from room to room so eventually they will be hitting your bed next. Also the only way I’ve known to actually fully get rid of them is an exterminator. So you’ll have to ask yourself what will be cheaper, a new futon mattress or exterminating your house?
